The Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (also known as CSIR-CMERI Durgapur or CMERI Durgapur) is a public engineering research and development institution in Durgapur, West Bengal, India. It is a constituent laboratory of the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).The institute is the only mechanical engineering research and development institution in India,[citation needed] dedicated to work in the mechanical and allied engineering disciplines.

Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) has released recruitment notification for filling 38 posts of Senior Project Fellow/Project-Junior Research Fellow/Project-Senior Project Fellow/ Project Fellow Posts through walk in interview from 27th February 2014 to 28th February 2014 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the room of CSIR -CMERI, Durgapur. Eligibility Criteria: 
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should posses BE/BTech, ME/MTech with valid GATE score for above posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be recruited basis on performance in Interview.

How to Apply:

Eligible contenders may attend walk in interview on 27th and 28th Feb 2014 with application form, original certificates all relevant & necessary documents, mark sheets, recent passport size photograph. Walk-in-interview will be conducted in the Committee Room of CSIR -CMERI, Durgapur
