Indian Postal department, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology has published notification for filling up the 8243 Postal Assistants (PA) Sorting Assistants (SA)for the year 2013-14 in 22 Postal division/circles in the Country. Eligible and qualified candidates should apply online from 26th February 2014 to 27th March 2014. Age details : 18 to 27 years as on 27th march 2014

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed 10+2 (12th) from a recognized university and English as a compulsory subject and also applicant must have passed local languagae of the State Postal Circle or in Hindi as a subject at least in SSC level or equivalent.

Selection Process : Written Examination and computer test.

Applicational Fee : Candidates can get application form by paying Rs.100/- in any GPO. GEneral and OBC candidates to be paid Rs.400 in the form of Cash, No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women Candidates.
