The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) is an initiative undertaken by the government of India to address the health needs of underserved rural areas. Founded in April 2005 by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the NRHM was initially tasked with addressing the health needs of 18 states that had been identified as having weak public health indicators. A recruitment notification has been issued by the National Rural Health Mission, Punjab (PBNRHM) and invited application from the eligible candidates to attend walk-in for filling the posts of District/ Block Statistical Assistant, District/Block Accountant Cum Cashier, Information Assistant, Computer Operator on contractual basis. Name of the posts:
1. District/ Block Accountant Cum Cashier: 03 Posts (Gen-2, SC-M&B-01)
2. District/ Block Statistical Assistant: 07 Posts (Gen-04, SC-01, ESM-02)
3. Information Assistant: 06 Posts (Gen-02, SC-02, ESM-01, PH-01)
4. Computer Operator: 37 Posts (Gen-18, SC(R&O)-11,SC(M&B)-01, SC(ESM)-01 ESM-5,PH-01)

Educational Qualification:
Candidates those who are applying for the post at Sr. No. 1 should have Commerce Graduation or Graduation in any discipline having Statistics or Economics as one of the subject with one year Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Applications, for post at Sr. no. 2 should have Commerce Graduation with one year Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Applications, for post at Sr. No. 3 should have Graduation with one year Diploma in Computer Application from a Recognized Institute or BCA/ B.Sc IT/ B.Tech(CS or IT) and
candidates should be Graduate with at least one year Diploma in Computer Application.

Age Limit:
Candidates' age should be in between the 18 to 38 years.

Selection Method:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in interview/typing test.

How to Apply:
Eligible and interested candidates who are meeting all the eligibility can attend the Walk-in Interview along with two recent passport size photographs, original certificates/document and one set of attested copies of all relevant certificates/document on 05-02-2014 at 10:00 AM for (Sr.No:1,2,3) Posts, 06-02-2014 at 10:00 AM for (Sr.No:4) in the office of respective Civil Surgeons of the District.
