Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications for the recruitment of Examination 265 Posts of Geologists, Geophysicist, Chemist & Hydro geologists Vacancies through 2014. Educational Qualification : 
1.For Geologist post : Master Degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology
2.For Geophysicist post: M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics).
3. For Chemist Post: M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry
4. For Junior Hydro geologists: Master Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or marine Geology

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 32 years for Geologist post and between 21 years to 35 years for Geo-Scientist post. Age relaxation will be providing as per government norms.

Application Fee: Candidates would be required to pay Rs.200/- through Deposited in any branch of SBI by cash or using Debit/Credit/Visa/Master/Net Banking Basis.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be done on the basis of written Exam and Interview/ Personal Test.
